Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for purchases made from Into the Dream Studios LLC, including scan credit packs in the ID Grader app. This Policy forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Credit Packs (Stripe, Web)
Scan credit packs purchased through our web checkout are eligible for a refund under the following conditions:
- Unused credits, within 14 days. If you have not used any of the credits from a pack and you request a refund within 14 days of purchase, we will refund the full amount paid to the original payment method.
- Technical failures. If a scan fails due to a service error on our side and we are unable to resolve it, we will refund the affected credit(s) or the equivalent cash value, at our discretion.
- Duplicate or unauthorized charges. If you were charged more than once for the same purchase, or you did not authorize the charge, we will refund the duplicate or unauthorized amount in full after verification.
2. Credit Packs (Google Play Billing, Android)
In-app purchases made through Google Play are governed by Google Play's refund policy and are processed through Google, not through Into the Dream Studios. To request a Google Play refund, visit Google Play Help — Request a refund. If Google approves the refund we will automatically revoke any remaining, unused credits from that purchase.
3. What Is Not Refundable
- Credits that have already been spent on a completed grading scan (we pay per-scan compute and market-data costs at the time of the scan).
- Packs where more than 14 days have passed since purchase, except in the case of a technical failure or unauthorized charge.
- Disagreement with a grade, sub-grade, or market valuation. Grades are informational AI estimates (see our Terms of Service); we do not refund on the basis of a grade not matching a user's expectation or a third-party grading company's decision.
4. How to Request a Refund
For Stripe-paid web purchases, email us at [email protected] with:
- The email address on your ID Grader account;
- The date and amount of the purchase;
- A brief description of the reason for the refund.
We will respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
5. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer — we can almost always resolve issues directly and faster. Accounts with fraudulent chargebacks may be suspended.
